Leah Crosby makes work about care and human connection. They are a daydream creator interested in the empathetic potential of fantasy, the use of play and pleasure, the activation of public spaces, and designing participatory events.
With cheeky humor and a flair for the devastating, they use audio, performance, and games to make story-centered work that is hilariously sad.
They are currently a Creative Careers Fellow at the Arts Initiative, a year-long research and teaching fellowship at the University of Michigan.
